Job sheet template
A job sheet records what work was carried out on a job, how long it took and what parts were used, then captures the customer's signature on site. It is the bridge between finishing the work and raising the invoice. Fill in the fields and download a clean PDF, with no watermark.

Frequently asked questions
What is a job sheet?
A job sheet is an on-site record of work carried out. It lists what was done, the time spent and the materials used, and is normally signed by the customer to confirm the work was completed.
How is a job sheet different from a work order?
A work order authorises work before it starts. A job sheet records what actually happened once it is done. One looks forward, the other looks back.
Why get the customer to sign the job sheet?
A signature at the point of completion is the strongest defence against a later dispute over whether work was done or how long it took. It is far harder to challenge weeks afterwards.
Does a job sheet show prices?
Usually not. It records work and time, which then feed into a separate invoice. This template leaves prices off so it can be handed to a customer on site without exposing your rates.
Can I use a job sheet as an invoice?
It is better to keep them separate. Use the job sheet to agree what was done, then raise an invoice from it. Mixing the two tends to slow down sign-off.
